Techni-Lab S.G.B. Abitibi Inc., a private company, was founded by a local group of investors who were confident in the potential of development of Abitibi-Temiscamingue, a northern region of Quebec. They saw the need to serve the local industries in the geochemical, mining, environmental , agricultural and agro-alimentary sectors, a service inexistent upto now.

Since 1989, thanks to leading-edge equipment and experienced staff ,Techni-Lab is now successfully established in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Chapais-Chibougamau and in the northeast Ontario.

In June 2001, a new management team took the mandate of developing new markets and techniques, in order to better serve Techni-Lab’s clientele.

  The company can count on the experience of approximately 20 people, from which about 50% are graduate technicians and 10 % are professional scientists.
  
  Administrative staff and related positions count for the other 40%.
